HAVS ICT Development Work
Voluntary organisations, especially small groups, often struggle to use computers and information and communication technologies (ICT) efficiently – but these technologies can bring great benefits to our work. That’s why Hillingdon Association of Voluntary Services run a project to help voluntary groups use ICT.
The BIG Lottery Basis Programme grant will be used to develop IT infrastructure for local voluntary & community groups, bringing £300,000 to the borough over 5 years.
We provide hands on training and online IT support to local groups. Initially the service will be free, developing over the 5-year period of the grant to be fully self sufficient in 2014.
